Throughout the year, we’ve planned team activities and fundraising events to help make a tangible, positive impact on the environment.
Why We Have Chosen This Non-Profit
We’ve chosen the Big Blue Ocean Cleanup for its incredible efforts in removing plastic waste from the oceans—a mission closely aligned with BST’s values.
While a large portion of our products are made from detectable plastics, we are acutely aware of the challenges plastics pose to the environment. At BST, we strive to minimise this impact by:
Designing long-lasting, shatter-resistant, reusable products.
Offering recycling solutions, including collection boxes for returning items, so plastics can be reprocessed and remoulded into new products.
Conducting research and development into ethically sourced, biodegradable, detectable solutions made from seaweed.
However, we believe there’s always more we can do. That’s why, in addition to fundraising for Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, we’ve planned a hands-on beach clean-up event. Members of the BST team will head to the coast to collect litter, helping to protect marine ecosystems and reduce ocean pollution.
